A Holiday You’ll Never Forget: Family Liveaboard Safari in Egypt

Off to the sea!

A perfect child-friendly summer adventure — a family boat trip in Egypt!

Fly to Egypt and spend a week on board in comfortable air-conditioned cabins with private bathrooms (double or triple). Enjoy full board with three main meals plus snacks daily, and free soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Every stop of the cruise is either at a coral reef or a pristine, uninhabited white-sand island. Parents, children, grandparents, and friends alike will have an unforgettable time on this week-long sea holiday — with plenty of diving and snorkeling opportunities, a sea pool, and motorboats for exploring.

A family trip with no age limits!

A once-in-a-lifetime experience for the whole family!

Spend your summer holiday together on our liveaboard in the Red Sea during our one-week family boat tours!
We’ve been organizing these trips for years, and they’ve become more and more popular — because, as veteran divers, our lives have changed. We have families now and don’t want to go diving alone anymore. We want to share the experience with our loved ones. It’s wonderful to see that our partners are never bored, and our kids can hardly be persuaded to leave the water at the end of the day!

We anchor at uninhabited white-sand islands and spend the whole week surrounded by nature. The children splash around with their parents or with other kids, enjoying the clean, warm sea and discovering the wonders of the Red Sea.

Full board all week

A one-week holiday program with all meals included, ideal for families, divers, and non-divers alike. Also a great option for those taking a diving course.

Why not a traditional dive safari?

Most of us started diving in our twenties and were fascinated by the sea. We couldn’t get enough of the underwater world and dove as much as possible, always seeking new challenges and hoping to meet big fish.

But 10–30 years later, we have families — partners, kids — and that changed everything. We began skipping the group diving trips, either because of our non-diving partners or our young children.

About the boat

The boat offers comfortable twin and double cabins, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, hot shower, and English-style toilet. Bed linen and towels are provided for all guests.

There are two sun decks and a shaded deck, plus a diving deck on the lower level and a spacious swim platform for easy water access.
Meals are served in a separate dining room. There’s a European-style lounge with TV and games for children, and an Arabic room for relaxing with a waterpipe.

Itinerary

We anchor near islands, coral reefs, or sheltered bays, where you can swim, snorkel, or take a motorboat to shore. Enjoy sunbathing on endless white-sand beaches — no crowded local pools, just pure nature and the real sea. It’s a joy for parents to watch their children connect with nature.

Meanwhile, those who wish can join guided scuba dives led by experienced dive masters.

Planned route and dive sites

Departure from Hurghada Port, visiting:
Shaab el Erg, Siyul, Small Gubal Island, Big Gubal Island (Abu Nuhas), Siyul, Small Giftun, Umm Gamar, Gotta Abu Ramada, and returning to Hurghada.

Diving

Dad can join 3–4 dives per day. The boat might stay in one area for several days, but even one site (for example, Gubal Island and its bay) offers 5–6 different dive spots inside and outside the reef. And after a couple of dives, he might enjoy snorkeling with the kids, showing them corals and fish up close.

Especially for families

We designed this boat safari especially for families — so dad can dive, mom can relax, and kids are well cared for.
The boat stays anchored for 2–3 days in one place, moving only a little during the week. This minimizes any rocking, so there’s no seasickness and no risk for small children on board.

A day at sea

Each day we anchor near an island or a calm bay — perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or taking the motorboat to shore. We spend the day on the endless white beaches, enjoying the sea and each other’s company.

This kind of shared experience does wonders for parent-child relationships — it’s meaningful, fun, healthy, and never boring. It’s amazing to see how children become one with nature.

With small children too?

If anyone enjoys every minute of the trip, it’s the little ones!
Of course, we take special care during midday hours to protect them from sunburn and heatstroke, and one parent should always keep an eye on them — but that’s just normal “parent mode.”

So, how many of you would be joining us on board?
